Thanks for your previous coverage of Anthracite Web Mining Desktop, part of a new category of spidering and scraping tools for Internet power users.

This is just a small announcement about our 1.0.4 release today.

Anthracite has had a complete overhaul of its Unicode support across the application, and now supports web mining in multiple languages with the same ease.

The disk image includes sample documents in Chinese and German, and it's also been tested with Japanese, Thai, Hebrew, Arabic and several European languages. You can download it from our website at:
